Salomé Lourenço

Salomé is a 4th year bachelor’s student at NOVA School of Law and a Researcher at NOVA Green Lab. Last year, she was an Erasmus student in Vrije Universiteit Brussel where she learned about the legal issues of AI and Privacy and Data Protection. She recently won a scholarship awarded by the American Tolerance Means Dialogue Association for winning a writing contest in Nova School of Law. 

She has been a member of the traditional academical musical group of her faculty (Juristuna) for three years, where she plays the violin and sings. She has also joined the debate team of her faculty this year (NOVA debate) where she has had the opportunity to discuss and learn about a variety of challenging topics. She is a member of Jur.Nal, the students´ newspaper of her faculty where she writes texts and poems. She has volunteered with the association Just a Change, where she helped to rebuild a house for a person in need and she is currently tuttering migrant children living in Lisbon as part of a volunteering programme. She is currently learning french and she speaks engish and spanish fluently.
