Welcome to the 2024-2025 Cohort at NOVA Green Lab!
We are delighted to welcome our new cohort of talented and passionate individuals to the NOVA Green Lab for the academic year 2024-2025. Our team has expanded to include a diverse group of students, ranging from Ph.D. candidates to Master’s and 4th-year Bachelor students, all united by a shared commitment to driving research and innovation in the fields of environmental, climate, and energy law. We’re excited to see the new perspectives, skills, and ideas that each of you will bring to the table.
On October 10th, we had our first official meeting with the new team, which was a fantastic opportunity to get to know each other, share our visions for the coming year, and discuss how we plan to achieve our ambitious goals. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm and readiness to collaborate that our new members demonstrated. We discussed our ongoing projects, introduced the core objectives of the NOVA Green Lab, and outlined the roadmap for 2025.
At NOVA Green Lab, we strive to be at the forefront of legal and multidisciplinary research, addressing critical issues in Environmental, Energy, and Climate Law. Our projects cover a wide range of topics, including the intersection of Law and ESG, the Corporate Sustainable Reporting Directive, energy market reform, and the just transition toward a sustainable future. With the arrival of our new cohort, these initiatives are already gaining momentum, and we are committed to producing research and insights that can guide policy, shape industry practices, and inform academic discussions.
As we embark on this journey together, our goal is to empower each of our members to develop their expertise and build meaningful connections. We aim to create a collaborative environment where every voice is heard, and every idea has the potential to become a transformative project. The NOVA Green Lab is not just a research center; it’s a dynamic community of thinkers and doers who believe that law and policy can play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.
We are excited to see what the 2024-2025 cohort will achieve and how our collective efforts will contribute to the broader environmental, energy, and climate law landscape. Whether you are focusing on ESG, renewable energy, corporate sustainability, or any of the many topics we explore, know that your work is valued, and your contributions will help us make a difference.
Welcome aboard, and let’s make 2025 a year of impactful research, collaboration, and innovation!
