The event discusses the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union with a contractual dimension in the period April – June 2024. It is often underappreciated how many cases the Court decides that impact contracts directly. In the relevant period, out of 231 judgments, 26 had a contractual dimension. Lucila de Almeida will offer an overview of the topics covered. Next, the four speakers will present the cases that, in their view, are most significant because of their impact on contracting practices in the European Union. Questions will be collected via chat during the event, which will close with a Q&A session. The presentation is based on an article in the European Review of Contract Law, Issue 20(3).
