The NOVA Green Lab membership call for 2023-2024

The NOVA Green lab is opening applications for students of Ph.D., Master, and Bachelor programs to become members of our team from June 2023 to May 2024!

NOVA Green Lab is an innovative and active knowledge center of NOVA School of Law committed to promoting legal and multidisciplinary environmental, climate, and energy law researchCurrently, we are running projects on greenwashing, circular economy, the regulation of sharing energy and energy communities, and just transition. Still, our interests are broader, reaching legal issues, e.g., ESG, Sustainable Finance, climate change, air quality, renewable energy, and biodiversity protection.

Expectations: Each NOVA Green lab member is expected to attend our monthly lunch meetings (every second Thursday, from 13:00 – 14:00, online) and is also expected to actively contribute to one or more of the organization’s programs, which includes contributing to our outreach dissemination plan, organization of events, editorial work, research and publication at the national and international levels. The NOVA green lab is an active organization, and being a member requires a small time commitment on each member’s part (approximately two hours per week).

Target audience: Applicants should be:

  • Ph.D., Master, and Bachelor students, members of the NOVA School of Law academic community or other Universities;
  • Be engaged in research activities relating to the core research topics of NOVA Green lab;
  • To have an advanced level of English.

Application process: Those wishing to become part of our team and become our research associates (for those enrolled in Ph.D. and Master Programmes) and assistants (for those enrolled in Bachaler program), send their application to the NOVA Green lab email contact (greenlab@novalaw.unl.pt) with the following elements:
