André is currently a Master’s student in Law and Financial Markets at NOVA School of Law, working on his dissertation with a focus on liquidity risk in the Islamic and European Union Banking Sectors. André holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and is complementing his legal education with a second Bachelor in European Studies, with a minor in Economics, at Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL).
Professionally, André’s background includes working as a trainee at Caixa Central de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo, where he supports card fraud investigations and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. He has also gained experience in property and immigration law as well as contract drafting during a summer internship.
His main area of interest lies in the research and study of the body of laws that safeguard the environment and promote responsible consumption and production, effectively creating sustainable economic systems.
