Maíra Tito is a PhD candidate at NOVA School of Law, and a researcher at the Center for Research and Development in Law and Society (CEDIS). She holds a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Brasília, Brazil, a specialist in Management and Public Policies from the School of Sociology and Politics of São Paulo, Brazil, a PhD candidate in Law at NOVA School of Law, Lisbon, and a scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.

She held the position of lawyer of the Municipal Company of Transit and Urbanization of Londrina, Brazil, between 2011 and 2020 and Urban Planning Director of the Institute of Research and Urban Planning of Londrina, Brazil, between 2014 and 2016.

Her areas of interest and research are: Constitutional and Administrative Law, Public International Law and Environmental and Urban Planning Law.
