Patrick de Pitta Simões has performed public functions since 2006. Among these, we highlight the fact that he has carried out tasks in the Portuguese Environment Agency, in the Directorate-General of Agriculture and Rural Development, and in the Inspectorate-General of Agriculture, Sea, Environment and Spatial Planning.
He is an arbitrator in the administrative area, certified trainer and researcher at the Center for Research and Development on Law and Society (CEDIS); he is also a PhD candidate in Law and Security at the Law School of the New University of Lisbon (UNL).
He has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon (FDUL); attended a post-graduate course in Public Auditing at the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF), FDUL; a post-graduate course in Water Law at the Institute for Legal and Political Sciences (ICJP), FDUL; a post-graduate course in Administrative Law at FDUL; Post-graduate degree in Environmental, Urban Planning and Tourism Law from the ICJP of FDUL; Post-graduate degree in Extra-Contractual Civil Liability of the State and other Public Entities from the ICJP of FDUL and a degree in Geography and Regional Planning from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of UNL.
