On 19 May 2023, our Director Professor Lucila de Almeida, Abreu Chair in ESG Impact, together Dr. José Eduardo Martins, Partner of Abreu Advogados, were invited by the AICEP – Agência para o Investimento e Comércio Externo de Portugal – to give a presentation in their training called ´Formação ESG´. Formação ESG is a series of training and presentations addressed to the AICEP staff members in person and online, in Portugal and around the world.
The training was attended by 280 staff members located in person and online. The speech addressed the changes and challenges for Portuguese firms with the gradual and expansive obligation of ESG reporting according to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
